About Us

Avonbrook Consulting has highly qualified consultants, therapists, and teachers to implement all components of Applied Behavior Analysis. All ABC team members are either BCBA, BCaBA, Certified Teacher, RBT’s, or pursuing certification and have met ABC’s requirements to provide services. All team members participate in supervision and consultation on individual team procedures on a monthly basis.

Katrina Mellott

Katrina Mellott (Owner) is a board-certified behavior analyst who has worked with children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays since 2000. In 2003, Mellott completed her undergraduate studies at Drexel University and received teacher certification in elementary education.

She then graduated with her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Penn State Harrisburg. In 2012, she started Avonbrook Consulting, which provides applied behavior analysis support to school districts, intermediate units, and private clients.

Mellott has presented workshops for the PaTTAN Autism Initiative, Applied Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), Parents of Autistic Children (POAC), and the Verbal Behavior Network (VBN), as well as for school districts throughout Colorado, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Ireland. Mellott has helped create assessments, manuals, and workshops used by school districts and administration to assess and train staff.

Carley Fabian

Carley Fabian received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University in 2013 in the areas of Elementary Education (PreK-4) and Special Education (PreK-8) with a concentration in Autism Studies. Carley was trained under Katrina Mellott and Avonbrook Consulting throughout her time at West Chester and worked with many in home clients.

Upon graduation, Carley worked as an Autistic Support K-4 teacher in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After 3 years in the classroom, Carley returned to working with Avonbrook Consulting full time and currently serves in home clients, as well as assisting with human resources.

Carley recently received her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification. She is currently pursuing her MA in Special Education with a concentration in ABA and enrolled in an Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Verified Course Sequence.
